I think that most women with fibromyalgia are challenged by self-worth.

We suffer from an illness that no one can understand.

Our ability to share our gifts and talents to the world is hindered.

Our lives are unpredictable because of the unpredictability of our health.

All of this erodes our sense of self and self esteem.

I also suspect that many of us have childhood wounds and conditioning that destroyed our trust in ourself and the world around us.

Or maybe that is just me.

In any case, we need to remind ourselves that we are enough.

We are wise, strong and important.

And we contribute to the world simply because we exist.
